Throwback to a sun-drenched afternoon in early July last year, when the world felt a bit more open and our spirits were as high as the Texas sky. 
The family and I, including Krista & the kids (Amelia, Jacques and Becket sporting his dino hat 
), ventured a little east of Dallas for some much-needed lake time. I can still feel the warmth of that summer day on my skin.
Life’s simple moments are often the most precious, aren’t they? We were surrounded by laughter, the soft lap of water against our kayaks, and a sense of peace that only nature can bestow. There’s something magical about gliding over the water; it’s like the gentle waves carry away all your worries. 
I captured this gem with my trusty iPhone 11 – it never ceases to amaze me how such a tiny device can freeze a moment like this in time. Can’t wait to share more of these memories with you all. Stay tuned for our next adventure!
