Exploring the vast sands with my crew and capturing memories with my trusty iPhone has become a cherished adventure on this late June day. Amid the rolling dunes of Colorado’s serene landscape, Krista, Amelia, Jacques, Becket, and I have stumbled upon nature’s very own sandbox. As the kids conquer the peaks like small explorers and their laughter echoes through the air, I can’t help but treasure these moments. Each step sinking into the soft earth tells a story, a narrative of family, exploration, and the pure joy of discovery.
These desert-like hills, far from the desolation of true deserts, are alive with the sound of family. Becket’s little legs racing down the sands, his giggles carried by the wind, have become the soundtrack to our adventure.
