Throwback to that sunny morning last June when the family and I were exploring the stunning sand dunes of Colorado! 🌄 There’s something magical about these gentle giants – it’s like being on another planet, especially with the winds shaping the landscape constantly.
Here’s a snap from the trusty iPhone – Lane and Amelia braving the elements, wind in our hair and smiles as wide as the horizon. It’s these simple, unplanned moments that are often the jewels of our travels. That morning is etched in our memories, just as the sand patterns are etched by the wind.
Sharing these adventures with Krista, Jacques, and Becket, watching the kids learn and marvel at the natural wonders around us, makes every trip worthwhile. And, even though we can’t bottle the crisp morning air or the softness of the sand, we’ve captured the light in our smiles and the joy in our hearts.
