Throwback to that magical morning in late June when we found ourselves wandering through Colorado’s breathtaking landscapes. The mountains whispered stories of old as Becket, our youngest explorer, donned his Mickey Mouse attire, looking every bit the part of an adventurer in this vast playground.
Our family trail led us through the heart of nature’s grandeur, far from the bustle of city life. I remember capturing this moment with my iPhone 11, marveling at how its lens could freeze time in such a vivid frame.
Lane, Krista, Amelia, Jacques, and I had been up since dawn, eager to greet the day. The rising sun cast a warm glow over the peaks, and as parents capturing these memories, each snapshot felt like it was painting our family’s story, pixel by pixel.
This terrain, steeped in the essence of the great outdoors, reminded us just how small we are in this grand tapestry of life. Today, as I scrolled through photos, this one stopped me in my tracks – Becket’s small stature juxtaposed against the immensity of the wild, a beautiful contradiction that sums up life’s wonders.
