Sunny greetings from the arid beauty of the American Southwest! This morning, my family and I found ourselves surrounded by the stoic saguaros and we just had to share this snap from our adventure, taken with my trusty iPhone.
As Lane (that’s me!) leads the pack, Krista, with Amelia’s curious eyes wide open, Jacques pointing at every little desert critter, and little Becket marveling at the towering cacti.
Back in June 10th, 2021, when this photo was taken, the brilliant blue sky created the perfect backdrop for these prickly giants. No filters needed when you’re out here; the palette is as vibrant as it gets.
It’s just amazing how a simple family trip can turn into an exploration of wonders. Each of us, in our own little way, finds something magical in these vast open spaces.
I can almost feel the warmth of the sun and hear the silence of the desert just looking at this photo. Isn’t it incredible what a simple morning walk can do for the soul?
